Welcome to Army Public School - Partapur
AGS, Pratap Pur was started to provide quality education to the children of the remote areas of the shyok valley on 26th May 1998. Similarly two other AGS were introduced at Bogdang and Tyakshi. Maj Gen V S Budhwar PVSM, VSM, GOC Trishul Division felt concerned about the poor academic standard prevailing at Partapur and surrounding areas. He aspired that an academic environment should be established to provide quality primary education to the wards of the socially and economically backward class. The school was started with a number of 56 students, in a span of 25 years the school has elevated its standards to a commendable level and the number of students has increased to 344.
The school has a twin fold objective: -
(a) Providing quality primary education with special emphasis on all round development.
(b) To provide education to socially and economically backward children.
